Does Mage-OS 1.x run on MySQL 8.4.9?
Partly5 of 12 Mage-OS 1.x releases install on MySQL 8.4.9: 1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.2.0, 1.3.0 and 1.3.1. 1.0.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3, 1.0.4, 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 fail. The product version does not support the selected database version. Our 1.3.1 baseline uses MariaDB 10.6, one of the versions Mage-OS lists.
Last run 5 October 2026. Each run is our baseline stack for the release, picked from Mage-OS's system requirements, with only the database swapped for MySQL 8.4.9, installed in Docker, compiled and put through storefront, checkout and admin browser tests.
