Which PHP versions does Mage-OS 2.x support?
Every Mage-OS 2.x release we tested installs on PHP 8.3 and 8.4. PHP 8.2 works on 5 of 6 releases. None install on PHP 7.4, 8.1 or 8.5. On PHP 8.2, some runs needed an extra step: Typed class constants break PHP 8.2 in the reservations grid module.
Last run 5 October 2026. Each run is our baseline stack for the release, picked from Mage-OS's system requirements, with only the php swapped, installed in Docker, compiled and put through storefront, checkout and admin browser tests.
